What helps you to keep a positive attitude after less than stellar health days? Knowing that tomorrow I can start again and try to stay on track. A day or two off the mark isn't the end of all your efforts.

I've been having a lot of those days lately. I feel like sometimes there is just not enough time in the day so I'll end up putting off a workout which probably would have made me feel better.
I say, don't worry, tomorrow is a new day. And you only life once. Sometimes we can get so caught up in worrying about not eating healthy and exercising, that we forget to just enjoy that moment.

I think you deserve to indulge once in a while. You'll be right back on track as soon as you get home. I know it's hard (it'd be hard for me not to stress about it), but just enjoy your trip.

Don't beat yourself up for it. Sometimes life can get in the way and certain things have to be temporarily put on hold. If I have a week off, I usually use that break to think about why I love exercising, how it makes me feel and when I hit that gym again, I hit it hard. :-) Have a good rest of your stay, sounds like an interesting conference!

What helps keep me going? Well, even though you and I have completely different needs/goals, my motivation comes from knowing that nothing happens overnight--positive or negative. You don't get fat overnight, you don't get ripped overnight. It's a simplistic mindset, but really, a few days of less than stellar nutrition won't undo everything you've worked to accomplish. It may not help further your progress, but any hindrance it poses is very minimal. So, don't be so hard on yourself. Get back on the horse and back on track. It's hard to be perfect all the time. :-P
