In a Pattern

What a day! Mine was great.. running around all over town.. but productive :)

FITNESS

There was a point during Yoga today, where I thought ‘wooohh might have over done it a bit,’ but when I got home, had a little water & food, I felt nothing but great!

Weights: Leg day! Involving DB walking Lunges, Bosu Ball DB Squats, Hip Raises, Glute Kickbacks (standing & kneeling), Leg Extensions, Hamstring Curls..

Cardio: Steady State, ADD-style.. 20 min. Inclined Treadmill, 20 min. Adaptive Motion Elliptical, 10 min. regular Elliptical, 10 min. more Inclined Treadmill ..  I always wear a Heart Rate Monitor when I workout, but I’m particularly mindful of it during SS Cardio to make sure that my heart rate is high enough. I generally stay somewhere 135-155.

Yoga: 60 min. Power Yoga

NUTRITION

Not as much fun stuff as yesterday :p

Breakfast was a Protein Waffle (I used the usual recipe, but the batter ended up a little thinner and made 2 thin waffles), topped with a packed of Justin’s Almond Butter and Walden Farm’s Maple Syrup..

Post-workout I went with a slimmed-PB Protein Ice Cream Sundae..

Throughout the day I also snacked on a couple ounces Chicken Breast and Baked Seitan and 4 oz Tilapia… it was cold, straight from the Tupperware as I ran out the door.. still tasty :)

Dinner was a replica of Sunday’s.. Shirataki Noodles with Imitation Cheesy Sauce and 2 oz Smoked Salmon. The noodles don’t have a particularly strong flavor, so the strong Salmon flavor is perfect!

The usual Protein Almond Milk Ice Cream & Cookie with Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup..

haha, so not the most interesting post.. it seems I’m getting into a workout & diet pattern.. probably a good thing ;) .. 3.5 weeks to go till Show #1.. I hope :)

    I heard back from CSF and they are putting together my program right now! I start next week AHHH im nervous haha

    I also have NO idea how to pick a show! I am sure they will help me with that though right? I dont know how much time i need which is why i didn't really do any reserach on my own, but then again I wouldnt even know what to research! thank you for all of your help and support! :)

  4. Sometimes a pattern that may seem boring can be so wonderful. I can't wait to get back to my pattern after this trip I've been on.

    Is the Walden Farms pancake syrup any good? I've had the chocolate syrup and I find it to be pretty tasty.
