What a day! Just a quick post tonight. I can’t believe it’s already 10:30pm and have still have so much to check off my to-do list. But it was a good day

So yesterday I promised good news..
Well remember when I went to Nourish last week? Well.. I work there now! When I was talking to the owner, she mentioned that they were looking to hire new people. I interviewed yesterday, they offered me a job, and I started today!
I’m actually pretty darn excited for a few reasons: I love everything the restaurant is about and what they stand for with regards to nourishing ‘mind body + soul,’ they’ll be offering education events soon which I’m hoping to be involved in, and the schedule is perfect to allow me to continue to build my business, see clients and train!
My first day today went really well. I really like all the people, and it was so busy, the day flew by! So I guess you’ll be getting a full review of all the Nourish menu items! 
Today at the end of my shift I went with the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich (the same thing my friend got last time that I was drooling over). It has Chicken Breast, sundried tomatoes, sweet balsamic vinaigrette, and provolone on a toasted bun. I was so hungry, I pretty much inhaled it on the drive home. Yum!
Meetup
Tonight I met April, whose in town visiting her bf, for dinner! So you know how she seems so sweet & lovely on her blog.. well I can confirm that it’s no rouse.. she is the sweetest! We met at Pita Jungle (when she suggested it, I agreed right away), and just chatted away (the waiter had to come back 3 times before we opened the menu). I knew I’d adore her, and it’s so fun to meet people in person that you feel like you already know anyway. And she was so cute to bring me a lovely Birthday present.. Sunland Mixed Nut Butter. It will be put to good use, no doubt..
For dinner I got the Mediterranean Platter with hummus, baba ganoosh, tsatziki, taboule, feta cheese, dolmades, falafel and pitas.
Wow, I’ve eaten out more in the last week than I have in the last couple months! I’ve been trying to keep it relatively healthy, but it’ll be nice to get into a pattern with my new work and workout schedules.
With today’s craziness, I didn’t fit in my workout, but planning to get it in before work tomorrow.. because I’m going to the John Mayer concert!
So I’ve finally been reading ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ and I love this quote:
“Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.”

Love the platter! Interesting quote – it's so true though. It sounds weird, but we do have to work towards our happiness…we can't just wait for things to happen.
